Hello! I’m Dean, the new guy here at Infield Digital. I’ll be doing mostly front-end development on our web projects. I’m really excited about being a part of Infield Digital and working with our clients.

Although I have been developing sites with a range of CMSs, such as WordPress, Joomla, Tumblr, Shopify, Big Cartel, I am new to TYPO3 and am excited to jump right into TYPO3. Off the bat, TYPO3 has been able to handle some challenges natively that would have required plugins or hacks in other CMSs. At first glance, TYPO3 was intimidating but with the help of the people here and a few resources, I have quickly been getting the hang of it.

Packt’s new book, TYPO3 Templates by Jeremy Greenawalk, has been very helpful for the build of my first TYPO3 project, a health care website. The book is a great reference for any person working in TYPO3, new or experienced.

I’ve also been watching SeeThroughWeb‘s Youtube channel which features a thorough rundown of TYPO3 tasks.

The official TYPO3.org documentation has also been a great resource.

As the new guy, what other resources do you recommend? What Twitter accounts should I follow? Which blogs should I added to my RSS? Let me know in the comments.
